Iron Sheepdog continues to grow its sales and business development team with the addition of Ashley Rogers. Rogers will be responsible for helping to grow the company’s footprint in the central US and supporting the business development team throughout the east and central regions.
“Ashley’s industry knowledge and relationships will allow her to hit the ground running,” explains Mike Van Sickel, Chief Operating Officer of Iron Sheepdog. “She brings a lot to our team and I’m excited to have her expertise, energy and enthusiasm as we grow into new markets.”
Iron Sheepdog operates as a fleet management and dispatch software platform with a mobile app. Working with contractors and brokers, Iron Sheepdog helps create efficiency and transparency in dump truck hauling to help contractors manage trucking and brokers grow their fleets with less hassle. Haulers are engaged with the platform via a mobile app that allows them to accept jobs, check in and out of worksites, collect tickets and get paid digitally.
Rogers is based in Kentucky and brings a wealth of industry experience, with sales experience in the asphalt industry, specifically asphalt plant parts and components as well as fuel, lubricants, and pavement preservation materials. Her previous work includes relationships with contractors throughout the east coast, central US and Canada.
“I am excited to work at Iron Sheepdog because technology is growing in all industries, but the construction industry is one where it’s now becoming more prevalent,” Rogers says. “I look forward to helping past and new contacts resolve some of their trucking pains while also improving their bottom line.”
